We've added charts on High Impact Breaking News stories so you can watch market reactions unfold in real-time, without leaving the discussion.

Calendar and News indicators show by default, highlighting the events that lined up with the move. The chart shows you where the volatility landed, and you can use the chart header to switch instruments and move between 1-minute and 5-minute views to get a closer look at the price action that matters to you.

Want to measure a specific part of the move? Add a draggable Net Change line from the Settings button on the chart.

News has been driving a lot of price action lately, so we’ve updated the News page to make market‑moving stories easier to spot.

A new Hot Stories block at the top of the page puts the market’s most active stories front and center as they unfold. Top comments for each story are displayed so you can quickly gauge community sentiment. Navigation arrows let you flip through these stories without breaking your flow.

Below Hot Stories, the left side has a long Latest Stories list if you still like to read the tape in chronological order. On the right, you’ll find more ways to view news and comments, and both sides are customizable to match how you trade.

Since the comment section isn’t for everyone, you can click the ‘Hot Stories’ block title and uncheck ‘Show Top Comments’ to focus purely on the news.

The Market page has been redesigned to make navigating between instruments faster and easier.

Instruments now have icons, making everything easier to recognize at a glance. Whether you're tracking gold, forex, crypto, energy, or indices, you can find what you need quickly.

The instrument selector has also been updated. Just start typing a symbol or name, or browse the most popular instruments to get started. Over time, the selector learns from your activity to surface more personalized suggestions.

News comments have been redesigned to make discussions more useful and easier to follow. In a market where headlines can move prices in seconds, conversations around the news matter. With Volatility Now putting market‑moving stories front and center, good comments can turn those headlines into trade ideas even faster.

Using the new view

By default, comments are ordered to highlight higher‑quality contributions. If you prefer a different sort order, click "Comments / Top" at the top left of the comments block and choose "Oldest" for chronological order (like before) or "Newest" to see the latest comments first.
