Sibanye-Stillwater confirms wage deal, strike end at U.S. mining operations

Seeking Alpha reports: Sibanye-Stillwater confirmed Wednesday that its workforces at the Stillwater East mine and Columbus metallurgical facility in Montana ratified a new collective bargaining agreement with the United Steelworkers through May 2029. The new agreement covers a range of terms, including a wage increase of 4.5% in year 1, the greater of 3.5% or the Consumer Price Index in year 2, and the greater of 3% or the CPI in year 3 of the agreement.
