Seeking Alpha reports: Retail sales rose for the 12th straight month in September, according to the latest update from CNBC and the National Retail Federation. Total retail sales, excluding automobile dealers and gasoline stations, were up 0.3% month-over-month in September to $560.8 billion and were up 4.1% on a seasonally adjusted year-over-year comparison.
