Prudential of Japan's new business suspension extended to Jan. 31, 2027

Seeking Alpha reports: Japan's Financial Services Agency extended the period in which Prudential of Japan, or POJ, cannot solicit new business until Jan. 31, 2027, to allow the company additional time to advance remedial actions, Prudential Financial said Friday. Prudential Financial stock fell 1.4% in premarket trading. The agency also ordered a business suspension through the same date for the Life Consultant channel of Prudential's Gibraltar Life unit.
