Humana surges post-market on boost in 2027 Medicare Advantage Star Ratings

Seeking Alpha reports: Humana is up ~13% in after-hours trading Thursday after CMS's 2027 Medicare Advantage Star Ratings for one of the insurer's large MA plans increased to 4 stars from 3.5 stars. The contract, H5216, covers ~2.4M members. The boost to 4 stars means that Humana is again eligible for bonus payments for that contract.
