Hallador Energy Strikes Six-Year PPA and $271 Million Capacity Sale With Duke Energy Indiana

Hallador Energy announced two long-term agreements with Duke Energy Indiana tied to output and capacity from the Merom Generating Station for the period June 1, 2029 to May 31, 2035. The first is a six-year, unit-contingent PPA covering an average 200 MW, with pricing based on a Fuel Price Floor and seasonal Base Adder and provisions for certain excess fuel cost recovery.
