Goldman nabs Buy rating at TD Cowen; Morgan Stanley on Hold; resumes U.S. large-cap banks

Seeking Alpha reports: TD Cowen resumed coverage of 16 large-cap U.S. banks and initiated coverage of Goldman Sachs at Buy and Morgan Stanley at Hold. The overall sector benefits from strong fundamentals, but analyst R. Scott Siefers isn't keen on valuations. "Bottom line: we like the fundamentals more than we like the stocks, and we consider selection critical," the analyst wrote in a note to clients.
