FOMO Web Users Face Bookmark Phishing Attacks That Hijack Accounts and Steal Crypto Assets

Binance News reports: SlowMist’s Cosine said bookmark phishing attacks targeting FOMO web users are emerging. According to Odaily, the phishing pages lure users into completing a fake human verification step, then prompt them to drag malicious JavaScript code into the browser bookmarks bar and save it as a bookmark. Users who click the bookmark two or three times may have previously logged-in FOMO accounts hijacked, and the crypto assets in those accounts are then stolen immediately.
