Simply open the Electrum wallet (or any Electrum derivative, such as Electrum-LTC or Electron Cash), then go to Tools -> Sign/Verify Message... and paste the Message, Address, and Signature into Sign/verify Message dialog textboxes: then click Verify. A new message box should pop up to confirm that signature has been verified.

I found this famous message, which came from an old coin holder (2011 address, held ~$300M worth of BTC in 2017 ) in a matter of public interest. I would like to independently verify it. How do I do that with Electrum? Message (2 lines, no extra line breaks at the end): Address 16cou7Ht6WjTzuFyDBnht9hmvXytg6XdVT does not belong to Satoshi or to Craig Wright. Craig is a liar and a fraud. Address: 16cou7Ht6WjTzuFyDBnht9hmvXytg6XdVT Signature: G39S6i4XsfQnixN5ePMjVPboWvGXdnW8xFFAXiwEriZFCclflbD7umP58u3Sl+dvvXC5BxBrRNkTMNf92O1UIXw=
