I was reading about Bluetooth Low Energy, which led me to the idea of running a Lightning node completely offline—using the Internet only to open and close channels on‑chain. From there, I began wondering: Are there existing proposals or active discussions specifically about an air‑gapped Lightning Network? What technical challenges have people identified in making Lightning work over BLE/Wi‑Fi mesh? Could anyone point me to relevant papers or implementation experiments I could study or contribute to? PS: I’m completely new to Lightning network, so I may have overlooked aspects that contradict the idea of an air‑gapped setup. Apologies if that’s the case!
