How do I integrate my web3 authentication with Kora? The use case is:
Users are authenticated using web3 auth for seamless login
All payment transactions on Solana for activities in app
Today, the user has to pay for the SOL gas fees, but I want to replace that with Kora so the app pays for all gas fees and users don't have to pay any SOL gas fees.

To use Kora with your dapp, you'll need
a Kora node
update your client code for interacting with Kora.
1. Kora Nodes
Since you have a specific use case, you may want to run your own node. This involves setting up a configuration and running an off-chain server. Here's a
guide
for quickly setting up a Kora server locally and another
guide
starting up a server with a docker container.
If you do end up running your own node AND wish for the Kora node to sign transactions using Web3 Authentication, you'll need to add Web3 Auth to
Solana Keychain
(which is used by Kora for signing).
2. Updated Client Code
Because Kora will sign and be feepayer on your transactions, you'll need to make a couple of small changes to your client code.
First, use the
getPayerSigner
method to get the Kora node's signing address.
Next, set your transaction's feepayer the Kora Signer from the previous step
Update your client signing to partial sign
Encode your partially signed transaction as base64 and send it to the Kora node for signing
Here is a
Guide
on using Kora and
Sample client code
for interacting with Kora which covers all the steps above.
