Is stellar network the same as stellar lumens? When I try to buy or receive USDC in crypto.com, the network available is stellar lumens and not just stellar. I do not want to lose the coins. Can you explain?te

Stellar Lumens (XLM) is the name of the native cryptocurrency used in the Stellar network. Just like Ether is the name of the native cryptocurrency used in the Ethereum network.
I do not know crypto.com, so I cannot tell what happens when you choose "Stellar Lumens" as a network. I guess you will either receive XLM on the stellar network, or you will receive USDC tokens on the Stellar network. Either case should not make you lose the coins.
Note that to receive any other asset than XLM on Stellar, you already need enough XLM on your account to establish a trustline for the asset you want to receive (1 XLM base reserve plus 0.5 XLM per each trustline established).
