As of now, the only API I can find that serves historical data is
https://blockchain.info/charts/market-price?timespan=60days&format=json
. It only uses USD, and I need to serve non-USD data. My google-fu is failing me, does anyone know of an API that serves historical data for more than one currency? Preferably a currency I can specify as part of the API call.

The CoinMarketCap API offers historical data starting with their Hobbyist plan. You can do currency conversions as part of the API call (USD and non-USD). It is not free though.

As far as I know, most APIs from that time mainly supported USD because BTC trading started there first and has the longest price history. If you need historical BTC prices in other currencies, one option is to use a BTC/USD historical API and then convert the values using historical FOREX exchange rates from providers like OANDA or XE.
You can also check APIs from exchanges or data providers like CoinDesk, which offered BTC indexes in multiple currencies.

You can check out
Tatum’s Price API
.
It provides exchange-rate data for cryptocurrencies against different fiat currencies, so you’re not limited to BTC/USD. You can find the
API documentation here
.
Full disclosure: I work at Tatum. If you’re working with historical Bitcoin data beyond just prices, we’ve also built a UTXO indexer for Bitcoin. It lets you query the
historical balance of a Bitcoin address
at a specific point in time which is quite unique.
This can be useful if you want to combine historical BTC balances with historical price data, for example for portfolio valuation.
